Guidance and Support

through every stage of the journey.

  • End-of-Life Planning

We make plans for how we want to live, so why wouldn’t we make plans for how we want to die?

Looking ahead to the End-of-Life can often help us craft more fulfilling lives. No matter where you are in your journey- young or old, battling illness or fit as a fiddle- there is never a bad time to start imagining and planning for how we want to be remembered, how we want to pass, and how those we love can best honor and celebrate us.

Together, we can create a Care Plan, craft a legacy project, plan your funeral and determine your burial wishes. We can get specific with how you would like to spend the last days of life, or plan a Vigil: who you would like to have close by, and what sounds, smells, and vibes you’d like to have surrounding you.

Clarifying these details early on allows for you and your loved ones to live in the moment when the time comes.

  • End-of-Life Support

The months, days, and hours leading up to death can be filled with uncertainty, fear, and stress. I am here to help ease the journey, providing support so you can be more present with those you love in the ways you love best.

I serve as an advocate for the dying individual amongst their clinicians, paid caregivers, and family members. I hold space for the wishes my client expresses in their vigil plan, and support the creation of a peaceful environment for the dying and their loved ones. I provide education and answer questions about the dying process and stages of death and grief.

  • After Death Support

The tasks that arise immediately after a loved one’s death are extensive. After death, I am available to assist with phone calls to family, friends, and funeral services.

In the days and weeks following death, caregivers and family members may find reprocessing sessions to be helpful. During these sessions we go over your experience of the dying process: what went well, what you wished had happened, and other moments that stand out.

I can provide education about the grieving process and early grief support, while offering appropriate referrals to other community and professional resources when helpful.

    Examples of Specific Services

Planning a creative and individualized Celebration of Life

    Updates to family and friends

Reprocessing with Caregiver and loved ones
