Guidance and Support through every stage of the journey.
An End-of-Life Doula is someone who provides companionship, comfort, and guidance to those planning for death, diagnosed with a terminal illness, or facing imminent death. Doulas offer nonmedical holistic support encompassing emotional, spiritual, and practical care. They also offer resources to help the dying person and their circle of care to make informed decisions in a supportive environment.
After accompanying loved ones through their own end-of-life journeys, I was inspired to become an End-of-Life Doula. Through training with INELDA (International End-of-Life Doula Association), I learned to provide emotional, spiritual, and logistical support to a dying person, their family, friends and caregivers, before, during, and after death
A Health Coach Certification from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro, a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bennington College, and service as a Hospice Volunteer prepares me to provide holistic support through the entirety of your end-of-life journey.
As a Doula, I hope to normalize conversation and preparations around end-of-life through creating spaces that lead to increased communication and greater spiritual and emotional well being for you, your family, friends and community.
